The CMAE London & Home Counties region is pleased to announce that they have appointed Tristan Hall CCM, Secretary of Sunningdale Golf Club, as the new Chairman.

At the Annual General Meeting on the 13thJune at the Caledonian Club, Tristan was appointed to the position of Chairman by the membership and succeeds David Balden CCM who has Chaired the region for the past 5 years. David remains a Board member of the CMAE European Board.

Tristan joined the CMAE in 2008 and LHC board in 2014.  Along with a BSc Hons in Outdoor Leisure & Recreation Management Tristan passed the CCM exam in October 2010.

Commenting on his new role Tristan said “I am delighted to be taking on this position at a time when CMAE is going from strength to strength.  We have a number of plans both locally and nationally that will be communicated to our membership in the coming months.  These include an extension of the region, an increase in member communications, and development of our website and social media platforms.

Also joining the London & Home Counties Board is Adam Walsh CCM, General Manager of Farleigh Golf Club and Ross Matheson, Club Manager at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. Adam gained his CCM recently in March 2019 at the age of 32 and also heads the Young Managers Group of the CMAE which is specifically for those current and aspiring managers under 35. Ross is currently the manager of the most prestigious tennis club in the world and has also spoken on operational excellence at the CMAE European conference.
